We enjoyed our stay at Shantara Resort. Our room was small but comfortable. We had a great view of the pool from our terrace. They have complimentary laundry machines which came in handy. The location is great, just a short walk into town to restaurants and stores. The room had a nice refrigerator, microwave, toaster and coffee maker. The staff was friendly and the pools were great. Definitely a nice place to stay in Port Douglas.

Great experience at the Shantara, service was excellent the hotel was close to the main strip of activity, great pool and we went at the perfect time of year, felt like we had the pool all to ourselves. Will definitely revisit the Shantara!

"stunning and close to everything!" Great spot in Port Douglas, walking distance from great pubs and restaurants, you can even walk to the marina. 2 large pools to enjoy! Balcony over looks the pool, big sized appartments and very quiet at all times!

Beautiful resort - room was contemporary and comfortable - with all the amenities. It was in walking distance to the harbor, town and the beach. Pool outside your porch if you are on the first floor. That was soooo cool

Fabulous property within walking distance of shops and eateries on Macrossan Street. Well appointed and comfortable one bedroom apartment with full kitchen setup. Alternatively you can make use of BBQ in pool area. Two pools to enjoy from early morning until late at night. Friendly and attentive staff to give advice or provide assistance. Shantara Day Spa onsite is top notch.
