The range of dining choices in Port Douglas is impressive. It’s easy to go dining in the Macrossan Street eating precinct with an array of Modern Australian styled restaurants doing their take on fusion-styled cuisine.

Their menu items feature some modern twists on some familiar favorites, like Crayfish with scented parsley butter sauce, pan seared local Barramundi with sauté of zucchini or twice-cooked goat’s cheese soufflé with a tomato & basil salad to mention just a couple

Star of Siam – 07 4099 6912, 12 Macrossan St – this is the authentic taste of Thailand in Port Douglas. Such is their dedication to quality that the Thai herbs such as the Chillies, Kaffir Lime, Galingal, Thai Basil, Hot Basil, Leafy Vegetables and flavourings are grown from their own garden 16km south of Port Douglas at Oak Beach
