Absolutely sensational Liz and Julie at the desk were amazing nothing but polite and helpful. The resort is amazing, rooms are awesome and I would 100% recommend to anyone that is looking for somewhere to stay in Port Douglas.

A fabulous place to base a trip to Port Douglas. 10 minutes flat walk to all of Port Douglas. Immaculate accommodation and facilities. Two swimming pools a spa and a gym. The hosts are friendly pleasant and helpful. Highly recommended. There is also BBC facilities.

We had a lovely stay at Shantara resort. The pools were lovely and quiet (no children). The resort is clean, modern and very well maintained. Best of all it's only a short walk to the main street Macrossan St. We will definitely be back!!

Great position- close to Macrossan street. Great rooms - kingsize bed, separate bath and shower, kitchenette and lovely balcony, looking over one of the two pools. Everything very clean and everyone very friendly. Highly recommend!

My husband and I found the resort absolutely amazing. We had the best time staying at The Shantara Resort Port Douglas. The whole complex was impeccably spotless, the rooms, reception, pool. The staff were amazing, extremely friendly and couldn't do enough for us, the rooms were spacious, clean very comfortable and felt like home. The location was a short walk the main street. We would defiantly come back and stay and wouldn't stay anywhere else. I would recommend The Shantara Resort Port Douglas to anyone, you WON'T be disappointed.

Shantara resort is in the perfect location, short walk to the beach or to the shops & restaurants, only 10min walk to the marina, and the resort facilities are great - I couldn’t fault anything. I loved my room which was spacious, comfortable, and had everything that I could have needed. I love that there are two pools to choose from and I must admit that I did enjoy the kid free environment. I will definitely stay here again.

This place is absolute Paradise. Well maintained property . Well groomed and tropical. Location to main strip is an easy 5 plus minute walk. The two pool areas are beautiful and well looked after. Quiet and peaceful resort. Rooms are well appointed and clean. The use of laundry facilities right outside your room are fantastic. Highly recommend this tropical paradise resort.
